Young People to the "Rescue"

When Kelsey read on our blog that we were short $893.98 from our goal for Tag Days and that Karrie, one of our youngest volunteers, had taken a can and canvased her neighbourhood to help make up the difference, she too asked if she could take a can and do the same in her neighbourhood. She did just that and brought in a can full of coin adding up to over $100. With the help of these two young volunteers and others who have taken cans to their work places, it looks like we are going to meet our goal of $12,000. Thank you Kelsey & Karrie for taking an active part and making a difference in the lives of the animals at the ARL.

To all the volunteers out there who have given of their time to sell Golf Ball Drop tickets so far this season, a huge thank you! We only have 5 weekends left including the weekend of the Golf Ball Drop itself. Though this past weekend we sold about $2000 in tickets, it was because of the dedication of only a few of our volunteers. The shifts are short, only 2 hours each. Keep in mind "Many hands make light work". Please have a look at the locations and dates and see if you might have 2 hours to give.
